Job summary

Flywire is seeking a Payment Operations Specialist to lead the successful execution of strategic payment initiatives across our global payment network. You will work with Product, Engineering, Treasury, Network, Compliance and Operations to drive execution and improve performance.

The role focuses on incident management, partner/bank governance, and ensuring scalable, safe payment capabilities. Hybrid work model and global collaboration are expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience within Payments, Fintech, Banking, or Financial Services.
• Experience supporting or leading cross-functional project execution.
• Strong understanding of payments operations, banking infrastructure, and payment life cycles.
• Demonstrated experience with incident management and operational troubleshooting.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive the successful execution of strategic payment initiatives from planning through production, ensuring operational readiness and cross-functional alignment.
• Coordinate execution across Product, Network, Treasury, Finance, and Operations teams to ensure timely delivery.
• Manage project dependencies, track milestones, and identify risks to project timelines.
• Provide regular, concise status updates to stakeholders, highlighting potential blockers and proposed solutions.
• Contribute to operational readiness plans for new markets, products, and payment capabilities.
