Job summary

Matlen Silver is seeking an experienced patch management specialist to join a global team responsible for remediation of security vulnerabilities on Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Windows servers. You will deploy software patches across the bank’s servers, partner with engineering teams, and plan, schedule, and monitor patch jobs to improve velocity and success rates.

Ideal candidates have strong experience in RHEL/Windows admin, patch management, and ITSM tooling, plus scripting and automation

Qualifications

• Experience in RHEL and Windows Server systems administration.
• Experience/knowledge in patch management.
• Experience with TrueSight Orchestration.
• Experience with Tanium.
• Experience with ServiceNow and ITSM.
• Experience in enterprise-scale environments.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent collaboration skills and ability to work in a global team.
• Experience in programming and infra-automation tools - Ansible, Python, etc.
• Proficient in scripting languages (Bash, PowerShell, Python).

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and monitor patch deployment jobs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve deployment failures.
• Communicate status with internal partner technology teams.
• Collaborate with engineering and technology teams to improve patch velocity and success rates.
• Support production environments in enterprise-scale settings.
