Job summary

Fivetran, Inc. is seeking a Partner Solutions Architect to own the global technical relationship with Snowflake and Databricks. This role spans alliance planning, joint narratives, and integration roadmaps to drive co-sell revenue. It is a global position that can be remote in the US or hybrid with in-office days.

The role sits at the intersection of field engineering, product management, partnerships, and partner marketing. Expect travel ~30% and coordination with regional teams.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in solutions architecture, sales engineering, partner engineering, technical product management, developer relations, or another customer-facing technical role in data and analytics.
• Fluency across the modern data stack and the ability to explain how the pieces fit.
• Hands-on knowledge of Snowflake and/or Databricks, plus strong SQL and data modeling fundamentals, with credibility in front of partner engineers.
• Sound product and strategic judgment and reasoning
• Strong presentations and facilitation skills for workshops and large partner audiences
• Proven ability to drive outcomes in ambiguous, fast-moving environments with multiple stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Own the global technical alliance plans for Snowflake and Databricks, building plans with partners and driving them across field organizations.
• Own the joint technical narrative and capability messaging for the dbt + Fivetran platform with Snowflake and Databricks.
• Build reusable collateral, playbooks and enablement assets for the partner solutions architecture team and partners.
• Maintain a current view of integration state, gaps and opportunities across the platform for Snowflake and Databricks.
• Serve as the primary technical counterpart to partner engineering and partner product teams, and run the standing cadence.
• Own our technical presence at Snowflake Summit and Databricks Data + AI Summit with hands-on labs and demos.
• Partner with regional teams so global strategy turns into regional execution.
• Travel approximately 30% for alliance planning, workshops, and partner events.
