Job summary

Propelis’ SGX division in New York seeks a Project Manager and print technical expert to sit onsite at a key client in midtown Manhattan. You will oversee packaging artwork projects from upfront planning through execution, coordinating with design firms, printers, and internal teams.

You will manage timelines, budgets, and communications, attend pre-production meetings, and drive on-time, in-full delivery while maintaining strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field.
• 3+ years progressive project coordination experience or equivalent.
• Travel locally, nationally and/or internationally as needed.
• High proficiency with MS Office Suite, Outlook and Internet applications.
• Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, budgeting, project management and planning skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, with ability to analyze and reason clearly.

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients, agencies and operations during artwork development and pre-presser execution phases.
• Attend pre-production meetings and print trials when feasible.
• Manage estimating, purchase orders and invoicing to ensure timely payments.
• Respond promptly to clients and build rapport and trust.
• Lead relationships with clients and internal/external stakeholders.
• Communicate artwork issues to clients and stakeholders and document critical information.
• Coordinate timelines and multiple projects; brief operations on scope and requirements.
• Create and update price matrices based on client needs.
