Yahoo seeks a Global Opex Finance Manager to lead planning of personnel costs, headcount, T&E, and Digital Services Taxes. You will partner with leaders to drive informed financial decisions and leverage AI-enabled tools to accelerate analysis and scale impact.

The role combines FP&A, business partnering, and process improvement in a fast-moving global environment, with a preference for East Coast collaboration and hybrid work arrangements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in FP&A, corporate finance, or analytical business partnering.
• Advanced Excel and Google Sheets skills for complex financial models.
• Ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
• Experience with headcount planning and operating expense management in a global org.
• Proven stakeholder management and communication with leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end planning, forecasting, and management of global Opex categories (HR costs, headcount, T&E, DST).
• Partner with leadership to provide proactive financial guidance and drive decisions.
• Lead monthly/quarterly close, accrual reviews, and variance analysis.
• Deliver insightful commentary on performance drivers, risks, and opportunities.
• Leverage AI-enabled tools to streamline analysis and reporting.
• Build dashboards and automate reporting with data teams.
• Collaborate with HR/recruiting to align hiring with forecasts.
• Prepare business reviews and recommendations for leadership.
• Identify and standardize budgeting and forecasting processes across the org.
