Job summary

Morgan Stanley's Global Operations Resilience Team seeks a Director to lead resilience strategy across regions, partnering with Fusion Firm Resilience, ORRC, ORD, TOR, and Technology. The role focuses on maintaining service continuity for Key Business Services and advancing incident response capabilities.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years of relevant experience, strong executive communication, and a track record of driving resilience initiatives and cross-functional programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher with strong financial industry experience.
• Experience across front-to-back operations and risk control.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with executive presence.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Strong critical thinking skills and ability to innovate.
• Ability to develop and leverage a cross-Organizational network.

Responsibilities

• Proactively managing Operations Resilience and understanding its impact on Business Services.
• Recommend improvements and assess resilience plans to reduce disruption risk.
• Manage Key Business Services: scope, asset maps and impact tolerances.
• Prepare and participate in scenario testing and tabletop exercises.
• Plan and execute continuity plans and annual business impact analyses.
• Plan and execute annual continuity testing.
• Coordinate across Operations silos and with ISG Ops Resilience leads.
• Develop and enhance resilience metrics and governance materials.
• Support senior leadership on ad hoc regulatory and business projects.
• Support goals for automation and innovation within the department.
