Job summary

Morgan Stanley is seeking a senior Reliability Operations leader to own the health and stability of production applications within WM Tech. You will drive incident and crisis management, implement observability and capacity practices, and oversee change and production readiness for new capabilities.

You will lead cross-regional teams, partner with broader tech and business units, and report to senior leadership on performance dashboards and SLAs.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required; 12-18+ years in technology production management within financial services.
Proven ability to lead mission-critical technology operations and incident management.
Experience driving SRE practices to improve production stability and reliability.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end health and stability of production applications across WM Tech.
Lead incident, problem, and crisis management with cross-functional war rooms.
Drive operational controls, monitoring, observability, and capacity management.
Oversee change management, readiness, and production transition for new capabilities.
Establish SLAs, KPIs, and dashboards; communicate with senior leadership.
Lead root-cause analysis and ensure remediation plans are executed.
Partner with IM Tech and MSIM to align operational excellence.
Manage cross-regional teams and vendor performance.
