Job summary

International Justice Mission (IJM) seeks a Business Operations Intern to support project and portfolio management, change management, and process improvement. You will assist with deliverables, scheduling, research on industry best practices, and design and edit communication materials.

This position can be fully in-person or hybrid (onsite Tue/Thu) in the Washington, DC area or remote for non-local candidates. It requires 30–40 hours per week, typically 8:30am–5:30pm EST.

Qualifications

• Completed at least two years of undergraduate study by start of internship.
• At least one prior internship or significant leadership experience in campus, volunteer, or community orgs.
• Ability to commit to 20, 30, or 40 hours per week during standard business hours.

Responsibilities

• Support project and portfolio management, change management, and business process improvement.
• Assist with deliverables, scheduling, and research on industry best practices; design and edit communications materials.
• Report to Global Director, Business Operations.
