Job summary

ICU Medical Inc. is seeking a Senior Director of Global Operations Improvement to drive priority enhancements across Operations, leading OpEx and Operations Systems teams. You will partner with plants and functions to identify root causes, implement practical solutions, and deliver measurable improvements in quality, service, and cost.

The role requires 12+ years in operations/process improvement, leadership across multiple sites, and Lean/Six Sigma certification. Travel ~20% is typical.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 12+ years of progressive Operations or process improvement experience, including leadership.
• Experience leading teams and cross-functional improvement across sites or functions.
• Medical device/pharmaceutical manufacturing experience preferred.
• Lean/Six Sigma or equivalent certification preferred.
• Typically requires ~20% travel.

Responsibilities

• Identify and prioritize improvement opportunities based on priorities and performance gaps.
• Lead with plants and functions to uncover root causes and implement practical solutions.
• Deploy resources to solve priority problems across regions and sites.
• Lead cross-site improvements and escalate where additional focus is needed.
• Establish and maintain standardized processes, documentation, and metrics.
• Oversee OpEx and Operations Systems with dotted-line plant leadership alignment.
• Translate OpEx capabilities into measurable operating improvements.
• Align resources with company and Operations priorities.
