Job summary

Universal Instruments is seeking a Continuous Improvement Lead to drive operational excellence across the plant and shared services. You will lead strategic improvement initiatives, embed a culture of CI, and deliver measurable business impact.

The role partners with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and Finance to improve productivity, quality, and cost performance while enabling scalable processes. Requires Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and 5–8+ years in CI roles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Operations, Business, or related field.
• Certification: Lean Six Sigma Green Belt required; Black Belt preferred.
• 5 – 8+ years in operations or continuous improvement roles.

Responsibilities

• Identify and lead high-impact CI initiatives.
• Develop CI roadmap aligned to business priorities.
• Lead Lean / Six Sigma initiatives.
• Facilitate root cause analysis and process optimization.
• Establish KPIs and track performance.
• Ensure sustainability of improvements.
• Drive adoption of new processes.
• Communicate progress to leadership.
• Train and coach teams on CI methodologies.
• Build internal CI capability.
• Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and Finance.
