Job summary

Alchem Partners seeks an experienced Operations Director to oversee five sites in a multi-plant role across Ohio, Virginia and Kansas, driving growth, EH&S excellence, customer satisfaction, and operational performance.

You will lead P&L management, site strategy, and cross-functional partnerships, developing leaders and shaping a sustainability-driven, world-class operation with autonomy.

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ progressive leadership in manufacturing operations
• Degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field (Master’s preferred)
• P&L, capex, and financial performance management experience
• EH&S, Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement expertise
• Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to travel as required

Responsibilities

• Manage full P&L, capital projects, and resources with a sharp financial focus.
• Shape and execute site strategies in line with BU and corporate objectives.
• Strengthen partnerships with customers, stakeholders, and global colleagues.
• Champion EH&S initiatives ensuring a safe, compliant, and sustainable workplace.
• Drive a culture of accountability, responsiveness, and continuous improvement.
• Develop high-performing, motivated teams and future leaders.
• Drive operational improvements, with a lean six sigma mind set.
• Enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and increase throughput while maintaining world-class standards.
