Job summary

DSV Air & Sea Inc. is seeking an experienced Freight Forwarder Ocean Import to manage import and export activities by ocean, coordinating with carriers, brokers and trucking providers to ensure timely delivery.

The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and knowledge of customs regulations, trade laws, and logistics systems. Excellent English skills are essential for customer interactions and internal collaboration.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience in ocean import/export is highly desirable.
• Fluency in English is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage the importation of goods by ocean, including customs clearance and delivery to the final destination.
• Manage the exportation of goods by ocean, including carrier booking and movement through transportation channels.
• Coordinate with carriers, customs brokers, and trucking companies to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Prepare, process, submit documentation for customs clearance, including commercial invoices and packing lists.
• Track and monitor shipments and provide regular updates to customers.
• Maintain relationships with customers, ensuring their satisfaction and addressing concerns.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and trade laws.
• All other duties as assigned.
