Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions, a division of Amphenol Corporation, seeks an experienced NPI Process Engineering Manager to lead global process development teams and improve manufacturing processes. The role requires 10+ years in engineering and proven leadership across functions.

The ideal candidate will drive lean initiatives, support cost and capacity Justifications, and ensure quality through PFMEA, DOE, and process qualification. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering (Manufacturing, Electromechanical or Mechanical).
• 10+ years of Process Engineering experience including NPIs in electronics/connector manufacturing.
• At least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Strong data-driven problem solving (SPC, Six Sigma).
• Experience with quality planning tools: PFMEA, DFMEA, PFMEA, SPC analysis.
• Knowledge of high-speed manufacturing processes and interconnect technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead global NPIs and process development for assembly processes.
• Develop automated processes and drive lean, cost, and capacity improvements.
• Support costing, capital justification, and capacity projections for new/changed products.
• Deliver process development artifacts: PFMEA, Process Qualification Plan, Control Plans, Workmanship standards, and DOEs.
• Coordinate global NPI planning and design reviews with engineering teams.
• Mentor a team and lead projects from concept to implementation.
• Interact with manufacturing, quality, and supply chain to improve yield and reliability.
• Support audits and regulatory documentation; travel for vendor visits and inter-site collaboration.
