Amphenol Communications Solutions is seeking a Global Project Engineer in Valley Green, PA (Global Travel). You will drive cross-functional NPI programs from design transfer to mass production, coordinating design releases, BOM readiness, tooling, and manufacturing readiness across sites.

The role emphasizes robust project management, schedule discipline, and risk mitigation, with travel of approximately 25–40% domestically and internationally to support global deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 3-5 years of NPI, project engineering, manufacturing engineering, product transfer, or related experience.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional engineering and manufacturing activities from development through production ramp.
• Strong knowledge of drawings, BOMs, process validation, tooling, equipment qualification, test readiness, and launch requirements.
• Excellent communication, project-tracking skills, and ability to lead across sites and time zones.

Responsibilities

• Drive technical project execution for global CBS NPI programs from design transfer through EVT, DVT, PVT, qualification, production launch, and ramp.
• Develop integrated engineering plans covering BOM readiness, tooling, equipment, test, and production readiness.
• Coordinate multiple functions across sites to meet milestones and deliverables.
• Lead action-item discipline, risk management, and escalation with clear ownership and due dates.
• Serve as a global coordination point for NPI execution ensuring design changes and constraints are visible.
• Support readiness reviews for EVT, DVT, PVT, qualification, pilot, and MP releases.
• Plan prototype and production build readiness including staffing, capacity, and engineering support.
• Maintain configuration control for design revisions, BOM changes, and tooling updates.
• Monitor schedule, dependencies, and recovery actions to keep programs on track.
• Support global site deployment and shared learnings across manufacturing sites.
