Job summary

Amphenol Corporation, through its ACS division, seeks an experienced NPI Process Engineering Manager to lead global process development and optimize manufacturing for high‑speed connectors.

The role requires 10+ years in process engineering, strong leadership, and problem‑solving skills; you will partner with design, manufacturing, quality and supply chain to improve yield and cost.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering (Manufacturing, Electromechanical or Mechanical).
• 10+ years in Process Engineering, Process Qualification, or New Product Introduction within electronics or connector manufacturing.
• At least 5 years of current experience as Manager.
• Strong problem-solving skills using data – SPC, Six Sigma.
• Experience in high-speed stamping, injection molding, or precision plating preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate activities for the NPI teams globally.
• Participate in Design Reviews and provide feedback to Design Engineers on DFMs.
• Analyze process data and make recommendations to optimize assembly processes.
• Support process qualification and customer sample through NPI teams.
• Lead transfers to production after development documents and qualifications are complete.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for production issues.
• Ensure timely resolution of technical problems affecting manufacturing and supply chain.
• Document process specifications, work instructions, and engineering changes.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and supply chain to improve yield and reduce cost.
• Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and related methods to drive improvements.
