Job summary

Takeda seeks an Associate Director level medical communications expert to translate scientific data into clear materials for neuroscience assets. You will partner with Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, and other groups to align strategy, content, and congress communications, while applying AI-enabled tools to improve quality and efficiency.

You will lead content development, reviews with Legal/Regulatory, and coordinate cross-functional initiatives in a global matrix, influencing

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in life science or healthcare discipline.
6–10 years in biopharmaceutical industry or related field.
At least 3 years in medical communications or medical affairs in a global matrix environment.
Strong knowledge of drug development and clinical data interpretation.
Knowledge of regulatory and legal requirements for medical communications.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute medical communication plans aligned with strategy.
Lead scientific content development and core resources.
Plan and support congress activities and educational materials.
Collaborate across functions with global/regional/local stakeholders.
Review content in partnership with Legal and Regulatory for accuracy and compliance.
Coordinate content development processes and future content needs.
Apply digital and AI-enabled technologies to enhance planning and engagement.
Monitor KPIs, manage vendors and timelines, and identify risks.
