Job summary

Moderna is seeking a Network Operations Engineer to manage daily network operations, troubleshoot Tier 1–2 issues, and support escalation processes globally. You will monitor performance, coordinate changes, and maintain runbooks under the Senior Manager - Network Operations.

The role requires hands-on experience with Cisco, Palo Alto, and other major vendors, plus strong networking fundamentals and collaboration across global teams.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in network engineering or related role.
• Strong fundamentals: TCP/IP, subnetting, VLANs, routing, DNS/DHCP, VPN.
• Hands-on with enterprise networks: routers, switches, firewalls, wireless, WAN.

Responsibilities

• Operate and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure.
• Triage Tier 1–2 incidents and escalate when needed.
• Maintain change management and network documentation.
• Assist in incident reviews and root cause analysis.
• Support on-call rotations for critical services.
