Job summary

EOS IT Solutions is seeking a Network Field Technician - Tier 2 to support the deployment and maintenance of networking hardware at customer sites worldwide. You will work under guidance from experienced engineers and project managers to ensure successful onsite installations, upgrades, and troubleshooting.

This role offers hands-on experience in diverse environments and a clear path to advancing in network infrastructure and field support.

Qualifications

1–2 years of IT, networking, field service experience.
Basic understanding of networking hardware and cabling types.
Ability to follow instructions and work in a team.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
Comfortable using hand tools and working with hardware.

Responsibilities

Assist with the installation, racking, and cabling of network hardware (routers, switches, access points).
Run and terminate copper and fiber optic cabling under supervision.
Conduct basic troubleshooting of physical connectivity issues.
Follow detailed instructions, network diagrams, and equipment layouts to perform installations accurately.
Support Wi-Fi survey teams with setup and equipment handling.
Perform equipment labeling, documentation, and site clean-up post-deployment.
Collaborate with project teams and elevate issues as needed.
Assist with site readiness surveys (e.g., rack space, power, cabling paths).
Adhere to quality standards, safety protocols, and project deadlines.
