Job summary

Essintial Enterprise Solutions, LLC is seeking a T2 Technician to provide hands-on network cabling and field technology support at commercial locations. You will work independently on network infrastructure, POS support, and deskside service while documenting work and coordinating with site teams.

Responsibilities include cabling, rack and switch support, imaging and hardware deployment, user account setup, and troubleshooting across multiple platforms.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in low-voltage cabling, IT support, field services, or related.
• Hands-on Cat5e/Cat6 installation, termination, testing, labeling, and troubleshooting.
• Proficient with TCP/IP, VLANs, DHCP, DNS, PoE; basic firewall/switch concepts.
• Ability to read diagrams, port maps, and project documentation.
• Proficient with standard cabling tools and basic network diagnostics (ping/traceroute).

Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, test, label, route, dress, and troubleshoot Cat5e/Cat6 cabling per project.
• Support racks, patch panels, switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points.
• Provide deskside support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
• Assist with workstation deployment, imaging, upgrades, and hardware replacement.
• Coordinate with customers and project teams; document results and tickets.
• Travel to client sites and adapt to early mornings/evenings/weekends as needed.
