Job summary

Boehringer Ingelheim is seeking a Senior Principal Expert in Manufacturing Science & Technology to act as the go-to technical authority for MSAT and Global Supply leadership. You will guide product/process life cycles, mentor teams, and influence technology choices across global organizations.

The role requires advanced degrees with extensive industry experience, leadership across diverse teams, and willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in scientific discipline (Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biological sciences preferred) with a minimum of 5 years direct industry experience.
• Master's degree in scientific discipline with a minimum of 10 years direct industry experience
• Bachelor's degree in scientific discipline with a minimum of 14 years direct industry experience; includes at least 3 years leading, influencing and developing people

Responsibilities

• Be the go-to technical expert for Global MSAT and Operations leadership for BIAH products and processes for analysis and guidance throughout product/process lifecycle.
• Provides technical guidance for change requests autonomously and leads technical transfer, deviations, validations, and testing.
• Leads strategy development and deployment of technical solutions for process optimization or analytical method improvements.
• Executes independent technical deliverables and cross-functional projects as Project Leader or Program Leader
