Legend Biotech US seeks a Head of Global Manufacturing Science & Technology to serve as enterprise technical leader for manufacturing processes across the product lifecycle. This role drives global MSAT strategy, technical leadership, technology transfer, and lifecycle management, ensuring robust, scalable, and compliant manufacturing across sites including internal and external networks.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a chemical engineering, biological sciences, pharmaceutical sciences or related discipline.
• 20+ years of progressive experience in MSAT, process development, or related biopharmaceutical functions with global leadership experience.
• Proven global MSAT leadership for commercial biopharmaceutical products, preferably including cell therapy or advanced modalities.
• Strong expertise in process characterization, validation, technology transfer, CPV, process optimization and lifecycle management.
• Ability to lead complex decisions across R&D, CMC, Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory and Supply Chain.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the global MSAT strategy and operating model aligned with priorities.
• Set global technical standards, capabilities and governance for manufacturing processes.
• Serve as senior technical authority for process capability and manufacturing performance.
• Lead technology transfer and commercialization readiness from development to operations.
• Own lifecycle management, scale-up/scale-out and capacity expansion initiatives.
• Provide leadership for investigations, deviations and process improvements.
• Lead in advanced manufacturing, automation, analytics and digital manufacturing.
• Collaborate with external partners and internal functions to ensure robust supply and quality.
