Job summary

Legend Biotech in Bridgewater, NJ, seeks Head of Global Manufacturing Science & Technology to lead MSAT strategy, governance, and lifecycle management of commercial and late-stage products across the global network.

You will drive process characterization, validation, CPV, tech transfer, and continuous improvement, partnering with CMC, R&D and external partners to ensure scalable, robust manufacturing and reliable supply.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree, preferably PhD in Chemical Engineering, Biological Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related discipline.
• 20+ years of progressive experience in MSAT, process development, manufacturing science, technical operations, or related biopharmaceutical functions, including significant global leadership experience.
• Proven global experience leading MSAT for commercial biopharmaceutical products, preferably including cell therapy, gene therapy, or other advanced modalities.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the global MSAT strategy and operating model aligned with business, portfolio, and manufacturing priorities.
• Establish global technical standards, capabilities, and governance for manufacturing processes across internal and external sites.
• Own the MSAT strategy for the technical lifecycle of commercial products, including process improvements and lifecycle management.
