Legend Biotech is seeking an Associate Scientist for Global MSAT Automation in Somerset, NJ. The role blends cell therapy manufacturing studies with lab operations, supporting automated instrument workflows and maintaining real‑time inventory in a GMP environment.

You will work with automation development teams and procurement, ensuring aseptic techniques and high-quality materials management while upholding strict regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in biology, biotechnology, or related life sciences field (master’s preferred).
• 2+ years in cell therapy manufacturing operations or GMP biologics/cell manufacturing development (CAR‑T, stem cell, autologous/allogeneic therapies preferred).
• Aseptic techniques in a Grade B cleanroom environment.

Responsibilities

• Cell Therapy Processing Support — perform culture enrichment, maintenance and assays using automated platforms and instruments.
• Ordering & Procurement — manage full ordering lifecycle via lab inventory platforms, process material requests, track shipments.
