Legend Biotech USA Inc. seeks a Head of Global Manufacturing Science & Technology (MSAT) to lead the enterprise technical strategy across the product lifecycle, from development through commercial manufacturing.

The role requires global leadership to ensure process robustness, scalability, and continuous improvement within a complex biopharmaceutical network. The candidate will drive process validation, technology transfer, continued process verification, and manufacturing optimization while

Qualifications

• Advanced degree; PhD preferred in Chemical Engineering, Biological Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related discipline.
• 20+ years of progressive experience in MSAT, process development, or related biopharmaceutical functions.
• Global leadership experience in MSAT for commercial biopharmaceutical products.
• Strong expertise in process characterization, validation, technology transfer, CPV, and lifecycle management.
• Ability to lead complex technical decisions across R&D, CMC, Manufacturing, QA, Regulatory, Engineering, and Supply Chain.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the global MSAT strategy and operating model.
• Establish global technical standards, capabilities, and governance for manufacturing processes.
• Serve as the senior technical authority for process capability, robustness, and manufacturing performance.
• Lead technology transfer and commercialization activities from development into commercial operations.
• Own the MSAT strategy for the lifecycle of commercial products, including scale-up and lifecycle improvements.
• Provide technical input to major manufacturing network decisions.
