Job summary

CACI is seeking an Enterprise Monitoring Observability Lead (SME) to guide a global monitoring program supporting the GMOS contract with the Department of State. You will lead a high-performing team, set strategy, and ensure secure, reliable IT services across thousands of users.

You will drive dashboards, analytics, and capacity planning leveraging Grafana, Oracle EM, and cloud monitoring tools, while collaborating with stakeholders and senior leadership on critical IT decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with significant IT operations/monitoring/observability experience
• Active Secret Clearance
• Expertise in capacity planning, performance analysis, and enterprise monitoring across large IT ecosystems
• Strong leadership with budget and staffing experience
• Ability to translate technical metrics into business insights for leadership
• Hands-on Grafana observability and dashboard design
• Experience with Oracle EM/OCI Monitoring, AWS CloudWatch, and other enterprise tools

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and management leadership for enterprise monitoring operations across global CA IT infrastructure
• Establish enterprise monitoring strategy with near real-time dashboards for executive decisions
• Direct infrastructure monitoring to ensure optimal performance across 350+ facilities
• Define metrics collection, analysis, and reporting aligned to mission goals and security posture
• Lead capacity planning and forecasting to support expansion and budgeting
• Identify and implement enhancements in monitoring to meet evolving tech and cyber threats
• Ensure integration of monitoring with Ticket Management System for unified visibility
• Deliver multi-level dashboards for program, operations, and executives with actionable insights
• Develop advanced analytics and ML strategies to predict resource needs and prevent degradation
• Provide leadership on major assignments including budgeting, methodology, and staffing decisions
