Job summary

CACI is seeking an SME Enterprise Monitoring Observability Lead for the GMOS contract supporting the Department of State. This role guides a high-performing team to deliver excellence in monitoring across the global CA IT infrastructure, aligned with ITSM practices.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree with 13+ years of related IT ops and a current Secret clearance. You will drive dashboards, analytics, and capacity planning to support executive decision making and national security

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree + 13 years of related IT operations monitoring, observability, or enterprise monitoring experience.
• Active Secret Clearance.
• Expertise in capacity planning and performance analysis for complex IT ecosystems.
• Experience leading technical teams, managing budgets, and staffing decisions.
• Executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Grafana Observability: hands-on dashboard design and maintenance.
• Experience with Oracle OEM/OCI Monitoring, AWS CloudWatch, Zabbix, Splunk, CRIBL, Dynatrace, or AppDynamics.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and management leadership for enterprise monitoring solution operations across global CA IT infrastructure.
• Establish enterprise monitoring strategy with near real-time dashboards and trend analysis for executives.
• Direct infrastructure monitoring across 350+ global facilities to ensure performance and rapid issue resolution.
• Set metrics collection, analysis, and reporting aligned to mission objectives and security.
• Direct capacity management planning and forecasting to support expansion and budgeting.
• Continuously assess capabilities and recommend enhancements for evolving tech landscapes.
• Ensure coverage for modernized and legacy systems, integrating with Ticket Management System.
• Deliver multi-level dashboards: program, operational, executive for actionable insights.
• Establish analytics and ML strategy to predict resources and prevent service degradation.
• Provide leadership on major assignments including budgeting, methodology, and staffing.
