Job summary

Novax Recruitment Ltd. is seeking a Global Supply Manager – Mechanical Commodities in San Francisco to lead sourcing and supplier strategy for critical mechanical components.

You will work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing and Operations to enable new product development and scale production. The role requires a hands-on, data-driven approach with 2+ years in sourcing or supply management, a Bachelor's degree in a related field, and willingness to travel internationally (10–25%).

Qualifications

• 2+ years' sourcing, supply management, or relevant manufacturing experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, Economics, or related field.
• Experience in EV, energy, electronics, or advanced manufacturing is desirable.
• Willingness to travel internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing and supplier development across mechanical commodities (stamping, busbars, machining, extrusions, plastics).
• Manage RFQs, negotiations, supplier agreements, and pricing.
• Partner with Engineering and Manufacturing on NPI and production readiness.
• Manage supplier performance across cost, quality, delivery, and capacity.
• Develop cost-reduction, dual-sourcing, and supply-chain risk strategies.
• Build and maintain strategic supplier relationships.
• Travel internationally to supplier sites (10–25%).
