Job summary

Redwood Materials is seeking a Global Supply Manager to source and own supplier relationships, supporting new product development and manufacturing. The role focuses on injection molded plastics, stampings, fasteners, connectors and harnesses, partnering with engineering and manufacturing to execute the mechanicals roadmap.

Qualifications

• Background in sourcing mechanical components with exposure to injection molding, stamping, harness assembly and fasteners.
• Understanding of cost drivers for custom components and tooling.
• 1–3+ years of sourcing experience in a similar role.
• Strong Excel and spreadsheet skills.
• Strong project management and communication skills.
• Flexible mindset and willingness to travel ~25% (domestic and international).

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end RFx processes from scoping to supplier selection and award.
• Build should-cost models for mechanical components (plastics, stampings, fasteners, connectors, harnessing).
• Negotiate piece price, tooling, payment terms, and master agreements.
• Own commercial relationships with key suppliers and monitor performance.
• Drive supplier readiness across NPI, production ramp, and ongoing manufacturing.
• Present clear recommendations to engineering and executive stakeholders.
