Novax Recruitment Ltd. is sourcing a Global Supply Manager for electronics and PCBA in San Francisco, CA. The role leads sourcing and supplier strategy for PCBAs, transformers, and components to support NPI and manufacturing growth.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in electronics sourcing, experience with contract manufacturing, strong should-costing and negotiation skills, and willingness to travel internationally (10–25%). This is a strategic role in a fast-growing energy technology company.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
5+ years of electronics sourcing or global supply management experience.
Experience with PCBAs, contract manufacturing, and electronic components.
Strong understanding of PCBA cost drivers and commodity strategy.
Experience negotiating terms using should-costing principles.

Responsibilities

Lead sourcing and supplier development for PCBAs, transformers, and electronic components.
Manage RFQs, negotiations, supplier agreements, and pricing.
Collaborate with Engineering and Manufacturing on NPI and production readiness.
Monitor supplier performance across cost, quality, delivery, and capacity.
Develop cost-reduction, dual-sourcing, and risk-mitigation strategies.
Support contract manufacturer sourcing and manufacturing footprint decisions.
Travel internationally to supplier and CM sites (10–25%).
