Job summary

Novax Recruitment Ltd in San Francisco, CA is seeking a Global Supply Manager to lead sourcing and supplier strategy for mechanical commodities, working closely with Engineering, Manufacturing and Operations to support new product development and production growth.

You will manage RFQs, negotiations and supplier agreements, drive cost-reduction and dual-sourcing strategies, and build strategic supplier relationships while traveling 10–25% to supplier sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, Economics, or a related field.
• 2+ years' sourcing or supply management experience.
• Experience in EV, energy, electronics, or advanced manufacturing desirable.
• Willingness to travel internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing and supplier development across mechanical commodities including metal stamping, busbars, CNC machining, extrusions, and plastics.
• Manage RFQs, negotiations, supplier agreements, and pricing.
• Partner with Engineering and Manufacturing teams on NPI and production readiness.
• Manage supplier performance across cost, quality, delivery, and capacity.
• Develop cost-reduction, dual-sourcing, and supply-chain risk strategies.
• Build and maintain strong strategic supplier relationships.
• International travel to supplier sites as required (10-25%).

The Role

A fast-growing energy technology company is looking for a Global Supply Manager to lead sourcing and supplier strategy for critical mechanical components. This is a key role working closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Operations to support new product development and production growth.

Day to day

• Lead sourcing and supplier development across mechanical commodities including metal stamping, busbars, CNC machining, extrusions, and plastics.
• Manage RFQs, negotiations, supplier agreements, and pricing.
• Partner with Engineering and Manufacturing teams on NPI and production readiness.

Requirements
