Masimo Corporation in Irvine, CA seeks a Sr Strategic Sourcing Manager to lead global strategic commodity management for Mechanical categories, including tape, adhesive, plastics, and tooling, optimizing cost, quality, and supply continuity.

You will develop commodity strategies, drive supplier performance, manage risk, and collaborate with engineering and operations to ensure lean material flow from supplier to production.

Qualifications

• Eight years in Strategic Procurement and Commodity Management with proven ability to develop and execute Mechanical category strategies.
• Deep understanding of engineering quality issues caused by material/manufacturing processes.
• Experience with ERP/Agile, inventory control, and materials shortage management.
• Proven leadership, analytics, and continuous improvement experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead global strategic commodity management for assigned categories to meet KPIs (savings, supplier performance, risk).
• Participate in materials team in new process/product development.
• Develop tailored development plans for strategic suppliers and migrate spend to preferred suppliers.
• Support vendor management processes and collaborate with contract manufacturers.
• Lead recovery plans when supply falls short and ensure timely delivery to production.
