Job summary

Masimo in Irvine, CA seeks a Manager of Strategic Sourcing (Indirect) to drive the indirect spend roadmap across global sites. You will architect the spend strategy for Facilities, CAPEX, IT/Professional Services, Logistics, and MRO, using Value Stream Mapping to standardize processes and improve resiliency.

You will lead cross-functional teams, manage RFI/RFPs, negotiate MSAs, and oversee supplier governance, SRM, and QBRs to achieve cost efficiency and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field; MBA highly preferred.
• Experience: 7+ years in strategic sourcing or procurement in regulated industries (Medical Device, Pharma, Life Sciences).
• Matrix organization experience across global functions and multiple stakeholders.
• Proven leadership, coordination, and mentoring of global purchasing teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute indirect spend category strategies; lead supplier negotiations to maximize terms.
• Perform spend analyses, FX variance assessments, and TLC comparisons; maintain data integrity for forecasting.
• Lead RFI/RFQ/RFP process, contracts (MSA/SOW/LTA), SRM, and quarterly business reviews; ensure SLA/KPI adherence.
• Provide strategic direction to global buyers; establish approvals and compliance guardrails in Coupa P2P.
• Develop supplier diversity reporting and regular spend dashboards for SB/WBE/VBE/SDB.
• Drive procurement transformation, cross-functional synergies, and standardized protocols to reduce costs.
• Lead Value Stream Mapping and Kaizen events to shorten lead times and optimize workflows.
