Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Electrical/Electronics alternative).
• 5 years of leadership experience in Applications or Field Engineering.
• Experience managing global customer relationships and cross-functional projects.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills; ability to distill complex topics.
• Travel ~15% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Build out, lead, and mentor the Mechanical Engineering team and oversee project execution.
• Interface between engineering, field applications, sales, and key customers to translate requirements.
• Guide concept development from customer needs, benchmarking, and existing portfolios.
• Ensure designs meet manufacturability, cost-efficiency, and timeline expectations.
• Support product selection and integration during early customer engagement.
• Provide direction during design reviews, meetings, and customer discussions across the lifecycle.
• Coordinate communications with stakeholders and track milestones and deliverables.
• Oversee verification, validation testing, FEA, simulations, and physical testing.
