Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS) in Nashua, NH seeks a Mechanical Engineer to join the High Speed Engineering team. You will design and develop High-Speed IO interconnects and cable devices, working from concept through production.

Responsibilities include mechanical analyses, verification testing, documentation, and support for prototype fabrication and environmental testing. A BS in mechanical engineering with 3–5 years of electromechanical design is required; SolidWorks proficiency and

Competenze

• BS in Mechanical Engineering; MS preferred.
• 3–5 years electromechanical design/support experience.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks; familiarity with ASME Y-14.5 a plus.

Mansioni

• Design and development of elements of High-Speed IO Interconnect and Cable devices to meet design requirements.
• Perform mechanical analyses using company tools; compile data for senior staff review.
• Support verification/validation of design; assist in fabrication of prototype hardware and environmental tests.
• Prepare documentation: drawings, specifications, and reports; present design review packages.
• Support continuous improvement: conduct failure analysis of returned product and lead customization efforts.
• Lead sustainment efforts: provide engineering support to products in production and perform root cause analyses.
