Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions in Nashua, NH is seeking a Senior Product Engineer to lead technical projects for connector product lines. You will guide design development and manufacturing while coordinating with sales, marketing, and other engineers to deliver robust products.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience, strong GD&T knowledge, and hands-on use of Pro/E with FEA familiarity. Travel ~10% domestically and internationally is expected.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Mechanical Eng, Materials Science, or Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years of related experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Basic to good understanding of GD&T.
• Experience with solid modeling tools (Pro/E); FEA a plus.
• Ability to communicate with technical & non-technical people.
• Ability to travel ~10% domestic and international.

Responsibilities

• Maintain product quality and reliability, ensure mechanical integrity, and perform failure analysis.
• Manage product documentation and specifications at the component level and manufacturing processes.
• Support sales/marketing by providing technical product information and guidance.
• Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturing teams on prototypes and pilot production.
• Assist in transitioning products from NPI to volume manufacturing in low-cost regions.
• Provide technical assistance to drafters, designers, and engineers.
• Contribute to tolerance analysis, FEA, material evaluation and failure analysis.
