Job summary

Nakupuna Services is seeking a full-time Mechanical Engineer to join our DoWEA Team and serve as the primary mechanical systems expert for DoWEA Pacific Region projects. The role involves on-site facility assessments across 45 campuses on 21 U.S. installations in Japan, Okinawa, Korea, and Guam to support SRM budgeting.

Applicants should have a BS in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program, 5+ years of related experience, and the ability to travel internationally. U.S.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• Active PE license or EIT/FE credential highly preferred.
• Experience conducting facility mechanical system assessments in institutional settings.

Responsibilities

• Perform Facility Condition Assessments of HVAC, boilers, piping, EMCS, and hydronics.
• Catalog equipment and enter data into E-SMS within 90 days of site visits.
• Support PM in developing FCARs with thorough documentation for amber/red components.
• Assist with Triennial and Out-of-Cycle Task Orders through field deployment.
