Job summary

Nakupuna Services LLC seeks a full-time Electrical Engineer to serve as the primary electrical SME for the DoWEA Pacific Region surveys. The role requires performing on-site facility condition assessments across multiple U.S.

military installations, with extensive travel to campuses in Japan, Okinawa, South Korea, and Guam. The candidate will manage data collection, asset management, and FCAR support while ensuring safety and security in high-voltage environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Minimum of five years inspecting and evaluating power distribution, emergency generation, lighting, and fire alarm interfaces.
• Active PE license or Engineer-in-Training (EIT/FE) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Facility Condition Assessments of institutional electrical systems.
• Enter collected data into E-SMS and support FCAR development.
• Identify, record, and maintain equipment IDs with barcodes/QR tags.
• Coordinate on-site safety, access, and operations during multi-site surveys.
