Job summary

Nakupuna Services LLC is seeking a full-time Electrical Engineer to join the DoWEA Pacific Region team. The role involves performing on-site facility condition assessments of power systems, lighting, generators, UPS, fire alarm interfaces, and telecom infrastructure across multiple military installations in the Pacific region.

The candidate will travel regularly to campuses in Japan, Okinawa, South Korea, and Guam, and reside near a strategic hub such as San Antonio, TX.

Qualifications

Experience evaluating complex electrical systems in institutional facilities.
Familiarity with the USACE BUILDER Condition Assessment Guide for electrical components.
PE license or Engineer-in-Training (EIT/FE) is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Conduct Facility Condition Assessments (FCAs) of institutional electrical systems and identify deficiencies.
Enter collected data, condition ratings, and quantities into E-SMS within 90 days of site visits.
Support the Project Manager in FCAR development with verified electrical data.
Identify and record equipment IDs and ensure barcode/QR tagging for Asset Essentials compatibility.
Document deficiencies with comments and photos, with time/date metadata for DAM upload.
Adhere to safety protocols and base access requirements during on-site inspections.
