Job summary

Armada is seeking a Data Center Structural Engineer to own the structural thread from site due diligence through design, certification, fabrication, and installation across MDC deployments globally. You will identify and vet vendors, assess seismic/wind/snow/soil risks, and build repeatable structural designs for ISO-container based MDC components.

You will also serve as the structural liaison between product engineering and fabricators, GCs, and local engineers, ensuring what is built matches

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; PE/SE license or international equivalent.
• 5–7 years of hands-on structural analysis and design of steel and reinforced concrete structures, including foundations, platforms, and equipment anchorage.
• Working knowledge of structural analysis/design software and building codes (IBC, ASCE 7, AISC, ACI) and ability to navigate NCC/Eurocode across multiple countries, including seismic, wind, snow, and soil loads.
• Comfort operating with a high degree of autonomy.
• Willingness to travel approximately 20–30% to project sites, fabrication facilities, and construction locations worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Own early-stage structural due diligence for new domestic/international sites: evaluating seismic, wind, snow, and soil conditions, mapping local code and AHJ requirements.
• Develop and maintain template structural designs for MDC components that hold up across site conditions, turning design into a repeatable SKU.
• Personally perform structural analysis and design for new Armada products and first-of-a-kind site conditions.
• Review shop drawings, anchoring/embedment details, and equipment integration to ensure what is built matches what was certified.
• Provide governance, documentation & certification workflows by geography; sign off on site readiness and safety.
