Job summary

Aligned Data Centers is seeking a Structural Engineer to lead design standards, ensure constructible, scalable solutions, and drive platform-wide structural excellence across data center projects.

You will partner with internal/external design teams, contractors, and operations to ensure technical integrity, repeatability, and alignment with customer requirements while advancing prefabrication strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering is required.
• PE license is required; SE license preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in structural design or project management, preferably for data centers.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain structural standards, details, and updates across the platform.
• Review and update the Design Execution Criteria (DEC) for structural systems.
• Ensure quality control of structural deliverables through the full design phase.
• Lead development of standardized and repeatable structural systems aligned with platform goals.
• Integrate structural systems into prefabricated and modular delivery strategies.
• Provide technical support for expansions, retrofits, and upgrades.
• Oversee structural design coordination across disciplines and ensure constructibility.
