Job summary

Armada is seeking a Data Center Project Architect to scale Modular Data Center deployments globally, owning the architectural thread from site due diligence through design and construction. You will coordinate with vendors, AHJs, and internal teams to establish a standardized design language across geographies.

This role requires 5-7 years of hands-on experience, licensure, and the ability to travel 20-30% internationally. Competitive base salary, equity, and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture (or related field); professional licensure (RA/AIA or international equivalent).
• 5-7 years leading architectural design and permitting on ground-up facilities.
• IBC and international codes knowledge across multiple countries.
• Navigate fire and life-safety codes internationally.

Responsibilities

• Identify, vet, and liaise with architecture vendors and code consultants on projects.
• Own early-stage architectural due diligence for new sites globally.
• Develop and maintain a repeatable modular campus design language.
• Develop in-house architectural designs for new Armada products.
• Act as the architectural contact linking product/engineering with architects and contractors for life-safety and operations.
• Build and maintain design standards, checklists, and sign-off readiness.
