Job summary

Armada is hiring a Data Center Project Architect to support the Galleon and Leviathan product lines, building a scalable modular data center design language and leading architectural governance across sites worldwide. The role links product/engineering with external architects and vendors, ensuring life-safety and code compliance from design through construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture required; RA/AIA licensure preferred.
• 5–7 years leading architectural design and permitting on ground-up facilities.
• Experience navigating IBC and international codes; ability to work autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Identify, vet, and liaise with architecture vendors and local permitting consultants.
• Own early-stage architectural due diligence for new sites globally.
• Develop and maintain a modular design language for MDC buildings and campus layout.
• Develop in-house architectural design for Armada products and unique site conditions.
• Ensure life-safety, occupancy, and operational workflow requirements from design to as-built.
• Create governance, documentation, and sign-off across geography for compliance.
