Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Director of Global Master Data Management Governance to lead policy, domain-to-platform assignments, and data quality standards for the Orthopaedics organization. You will own the data landscape and systems, partnering with IT, Supply Chain, R&D, and Commercial teams to drive improvements across enterprise data warehouses and data lakes.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Business or IT-related field; MBA or MS preferred.
• Minimum 10+ years work experience; prior people management required.
• Experience creating an Enterprise Master Data Management strategy that supports multi-faceted data architecture, data governance framework and AI Data readiness.
• Proven track record mentoring teams to achieve significant quality and process improvements.
• Strong Project/Account management and Testing Strategy skills; ability to manage multiple initiatives.
• Experience with Master Data Management, Supply Chain, R&D, Corporate Systems.

Responsibilities

• Own the Global Master Data Management data landscape and harmonization efforts.
• Lead the Global Master Data Management systems landscape and guide a managed team and partners.
• Provide leadership and mentorship within the Global Master Data Management organization.
• Ensure team members have necessary technical and business skills to meet objectives.
• Maintain strong relationships with partners to extend MDM knowledge.
• Establish metrics to drive process improvements in MDM domains.
• Collaborate with internal teams to define requirements for enterprise data platforms.
• Identify and resolve deficiencies in department systems and data capabilities.
• Drive system improvements to increase efficiency and performance.
• Engage executives to plan and execute improvement initiatives.
