Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Director of Global Master Data Management (MDM) Governance based in the United States. The role oversees policy, domain-to-platform assignments, and data quality standards across the orthopedic business, including DePuy Synthes integration considerations.

This field-based leadership role requires strong governance, strategic thinking, and the ability to drive improvements across enterprise data warehouses, data lakes, and related environments.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in master data management and data governance.
• Experience leading data governance programs and teams.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Experience with AI data readiness and data architecture.
• Project management and vendor management experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the Global Master Data Management data landscape and harmonize data to support business objectives.
• Oversee the MDM systems landscape and lead delivery with partners.
• Mentor and develop the MDM team; ensure skills alignment.
• Establish metrics to drive process improvements within MDM domains.
• Collaborate with IT, Supply Chain, R&D and Commercial teams to drive data capabilities.
