Job summary

Michelman is seeking a Global Marketing Manager for Flexible Packaging to lead the development of the global growth strategy and major programs within the Packaging group. You will collaborate with R&D to address unmet needs, drive sustainable solutions, and expand Michelman’s market position worldwide.

You will lead cross-functional teams, engage with customers and industry partners, and help deliver long-term value through new products that support a circular economy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering or Business with relevant industry experience.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in flexible packaging markets.
• 5 years B2B marketing experience in the chemicals supply chain industry.
• Proven ability to develop and deliver strategic business plans including analysis and quantification of potential and addressable markets.
• Strong network of contacts in the flexible packaging industry.
• Willingness to travel 25% with domestic focus and some international travel.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the segment strategic planning process and growth plan.
• Identify, quantify, and prioritize strategic market opportunities using market research and business cases.
• Develop competitive landscape and strategy for Michelman’s packaging segment.
• Lead cross-functional teams with R&D, BD, and Sales to execute growth strategy.
• Plan, execute, and support commercial launches for new products.
• Engage with customers and industry partners to deliver new products and technologies.
• Travel up to 25% (mostly domestic) with some international travel.
