Job summary

McCormick & Company, Incorporated is seeking a visionary leader to set the global packaging direction and oversee the North America Packaging team. The role focuses on innovation, cost efficiency, sustainability, and cross-functional collaboration with Marketing, Sales, and Supply Chain.

The VP will drive packaging strategy, engage with external partners and industry groups, and champion inclusion and sustainable practices across the organization.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 20+ years Technology, Innovation & Packaging Leadership experience.
• Experience leading global functions.
• Experience in the food & beverage industry, consumer products, and related business segments.
• Strong strategic management and planning skills.
• Strong communication skills with senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Develops and executes long-term Packaging Strategy aligned with objectives and brand identity.
• Leads Global Packaging function and North America Packaging teams with cross-functional partners.
• Represents McCormick on packaging matters with industry, NGOs, and external stakeholders.
• Drives top-level negotiations and joint business planning with major customers.
• Champions diversity, equity and inclusion; develops talent and succession plans.
• Develops circular economy strategies and sustainability programs to engage employees.
