Helmerich & Payne, Inc. is seeking a Head of Market Intelligence to lead a global intelligence function informing planning, strategy, and investor communications. You will translate complex market signals into decision-ready perspectives for the executive leadership team and other stakeholders.

The role requires deep rig market knowledge, external research networks, advanced analytics, and a track record of executive-ready materials. Domestic travel is modest.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, engineering, data analytics or related field; advanced degree is a plus.
• 7–10 years of relevant work experience.
• Deep understanding of rig markets and drilling demand, supply, pricing fundamentals.
• Knowledge of third‑party research houses and datasets; strong external network.
• Ability to develop forecasts, scenarios and strategic insights.
• Experience supporting executives and Board audiences.
• Advanced Excel with modeling and data integration.
• Advanced PowerPoint and business storytelling skills.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled research tools and governance.
• Clear written and verbal communication of complex market dynamics.
• Strong facilitation and global collaboration skills.
• Self-starter with pace, accountability and external orientation.
• Analytical, objective, and evidence-based decision making.
• Organizational discipline and attention to detail.

Responsabilités

• Lead the design and execution of global market and competitive intelligence.
• Create integrated market models, dashboards, forecasts and scenarios.
• Host weekly Global Commercial Intelligence calls and drive actions.
• Prepare executive leadership and Board briefings on market conditions.
• Develop macro house views across priority topics with clear evidence.
• Partner with FP&A, IR, Strategy, Commercial and Ops to embed insights.
• Support investor communications with market context and analysis.
• Own enterprise market-data subscriptions and manage vendors.
• Maintain relationships with researchers and external networks.
• Apply AI to accelerate research while ensuring validation and governance.
• Establish data quality standards and manage sensitive information.
• Travel domestically up to 10% as needed.
