Helmerich & Payne is seeking a Head of Market Intelligence in Tulsa to lead the global market, commercial and competitive intelligence function. You will establish a single source of truth for external data and translate signals into decision-ready perspectives for the executive leadership team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, engineering, data analytics or related; advanced degree advantageous.
• 7–10 years of relevant work experience.
• Deep understanding of rig markets and the drivers of drilling demand, supply, utilization and pricing; knowledge of oil and gas macro fundamentals.
• Experience supporting senior executives and producing materials for executive leadership and Board.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills for modeling and storytelling; knowledge of AI-enabled research tools.

Responsabilités

• Lead design and execution of H&P's global market and competitive intelligence agenda, aligned with priorities and decision cycles.
• Create and maintain integrated market models, dashboards, forecasts, scenarios and recurring intelligence products.
• Host and lead the weekly Global Commercial Intelligence call, guiding the agenda and capturing actions.
• Organize and develop executive leadership and Board briefings on market conditions, competitors, and strategic themes.
• Build, document and refresh macro house views on priority topics with clear distinctions between facts and assumptions.
• Partner with FP&A, Investor Relations, Strategy, Commercial, Operations, Technology and regional leadership to embed intelligence in forecasts and decisions.
• Support investor communications with credible market context and analysis.
• Own the enterprise portfolio of market-data subscriptions and manage vendors/renewals to maximize value.
• Maintain relationships with third-party research providers and external networks; validate sources.
• Apply AI and automation to accelerate research while ensuring data integrity and governance.
