Job summary

Merz North America, Inc. is seeking an Executive Director, Market Intelligence to lead the global market intelligence agenda, integrating competitive intelligence, consumer and HCP insights, market research, forecasting, and pricing guidance.

You will advise the Chief Marketing Officer and regional leadership, translating signals into actionable strategic recommendations that guide portfolio decisions, launches, pricing governance, and performance management.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
15+ years experience in market intelligence.
Local marketing/brand management experience.
Leadership in diverse function or team.
MBA or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead global competitive intelligence strategy and governance.
Translate developments into strategic scenarios for executives.
Own quarterly and ad hoc competitive briefings for leadership alignment.
Oversee global strategic preparedness and cross-functional collaboration.
Build planning frameworks for launches and market disruptions.
Set the global market research and insight strategy across markets.
Advise on market research quality, methodology, and interpretation.
Translate insights into strategic recommendations for global/ regional brand strategy.
Design and own the global KPI framework for commercial performance.
Partner with Finance and regional teams to ensure KPI accuracy and actionability.
Provide executive-level interpretation of trends and risks.
