The Head of Market Intelligence will lead H&P's global market, commercial and competitive intelligence capability. The role will establish and maintain the company's authoritative "single source of truth" for the external data, analysis and insights that inform planning, strategy, commercial decisions and investor communications. Working across the enterprise, this leader will translate complex market signals into clear, decision-ready perspectives for the Executive Leadership Team, Corporate Finance, the Commercial organization and other key stakeholders.

What you will do:

  • 7 - 10 years of relevant work experience.
  • Deep understanding of rig markets and the drivers of drilling demand, supply, utilization and pricing, together with strong knowledge of oil and gas macro fundamentals.

  • Experience supporting senior executives and producing materials suitable for executive leadership and Board audiences.
  • Advanced Excel capability, including model development, scenario analysis, data integration and quality control.
